Eco hair care brand Martinsson King, based out of Stockholm, commissioned Artists & Legends to produce their latest brand film and photo shoot in Berlin, Germany. Principal photography by Kate Bellm. Our very creative two day shoot was captured beautifully by Carolin Saage. Models cast from Mega Models and Izaio Berlin. Here is part two, behind the scenes. .
We are honored to have been chosen to fly to Berlin to shoot a brand film for the hair care brand Martinsson King. The challenge was to create an engaging, visually impactful 30 minute film for their global launch event.
The film, which has 4 separate stories, is directed by our very own producer, Deborah Bacher. This debut was exciting and creatively rewarding. She worked closely with the Creative Director, David Glover, over a period of two months to not only handle the production aspects of the shoot, but to create a treatment that would be showcased to distributors and hair care professionals from around the world at the event in Sweden.
Here are 2 of the 4 films.
The films were shot on location in Berlin and Mallorca. DOP Daniel Lezz.

In his motifs, Sivan Miller seeks the face of the 21st century. His feel for unique looking models, fashion, and locations all combine into cool portraits offering the beholder a new perspective on today’s world. In his choice of models, he looks for a certain “alien feeling”—for types that will take us on a trip to the near future. In doing so, Sivan often sets standards in the field of lifestyle photography.
Being discovered by the legendary talk-show host Oprah Winfrey propelled his career even further. Today, this young photographer belongs to the emerging masters of Fashion Photography. His sense for faces and his modern staging all make for a laid-back but also very secure visual vocabulary.
We love his aesthetic, yet somewhat lifestyle approach to his editorial work. He also has an incredible imagination which comes across in his highly styled, futuristic campaigns. You can see more of Sivan's work here: http://www.artistsandlegends.com/photography-1/#/sivan-miller-editorial-photography/

Come with us as we look into the world of Josie Borain.
